Think of how hard it is to break a wall down, all the sweat and tears that come into forcing something that holds the roof up down. Yet, when you do, you see the roof is still up, but the space is much more open, inviting, sunny. The same is for us. :) It hurts to break that last wall, or er, bubble. It's not easy, it sometimes doesn't even seem worth the effort. But the great thing is, you want it gone! It will take time, imagine chipping away at a rock wall with a chisel. But when it's all down, you will be open and inviting him in to see all of you. It might take time, that's okay. Just don't fight the want. :) Even if you can't follow through on the want to break that last bubble for him, just let the want grow. :) In time, it will give you the strength and bravery to find that needle that will push through and POP that bubble for you. :) {{{HUGS}}}Es Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15862166523815621955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9089116646566328147.post-17409332668074283172013-05-10T02:32:45.171+10:002013-05-10T02:32:45.171+10:00WB!

Ive noticed that it hard to be so vulnerable and to bring them into our bubbles. It seems to be worth striving for even though its tough, doesn't it?

Renovations can be very stressful to everyone, can't they? We did it a few years ago and with things always in an uproar, it is hard to relax. I can only begin to imagine what it might do to the dynamic. I hope that it gets done swiftly so that you have the energy to be where you want to be with dd. I bet things will look beautiful- both in your home and in your relationship Hugs!

<3 KatieKatiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09502903951761571578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9089116646566328147.post-82043895876915135402013-05-09T20:58:37.282+10:002013-05-09T20:58:37.282+10:00I so think that it is good to do this at times--to...I so think that it is good to do this at times--to just relax (lol, no the remodeling is not relaxing) but relax in each other and remember all the important parts, learn what is at the core of why you do this. If I never see another sanding block for the rest of my life I'll be happy.
It puts a strain on things and does make both of us incredibly tired and worn down.
It sounds like you've come through the whole thing really well, thats great for you two. :)

CallieCalliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08722173496181331492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9089116646566328147.post-19106318335121130992013-05-09T00:08:50.573+10:002013-05-09T00:08:50.573+10:00I once had a friend ask me why I push against the ...I once had a friend ask me why I push against the things that I want most. Why I fight against that which will bring me peace and joy. I couldn't answer. It's the truth. But now knowing that, it's a tiny bit easier to recognize and not fight quite as hard.
Good luck on all your renovations - and not just on the house :)
It's good to hear from you...Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04798113123590131798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9089116646566328147.post-66690440300600828572013-05-09T00:08:49.912+10:002013-05-09T00:08:49.912+10:00Hez what a beautiful post, I understand how you fe...Hez what a beautiful post, I understand how you feel. It is that last ounce of our bubble the one we cherish and hold on to, why? I asked myself the same thing. Good luck with the project- my house is always in project mode.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12593540781048637365noreply@blogger.com
